British whaling barque Narwhul visited Bay of Islands, New Zealand in 1836

A list reported the arrival at Bay of Islands on 15 December 1836 of the British whaling barque Narwhul, master Brind, tonnage 350 tons, homeport London returning from the sperm oil fishery with a cargo of 1,000 barrels oil.
