Japanese navy tanker Erimo 1920-1942

Japanese Notoro or Shiretoko-class navy tankers preceded by Noma succeeded by Kamoi. Consisting of Notoro, Shiretoko, Erimo, Sata, Tsurumi, Shiriya, Iro. Other sources Siretoka/Shiretoka, Erimo, Sata, Turimi/Tsurimi, Sirya.Shiria, Iro, Ondo, Hayamoto and Naruto. Built under the Eight-Four and Eight-Six Fleet plans. Laid down by Kawasaki Kobe Shipyard on 3 May 1920, launched on 28 October 1920, completed on 16 December 1920 and being heavily damaged by the Dutch submarine Hr.Ms. O 15 on 4 March 1942 grounded at Belitung off Sumatra, Dutch East Indies.
