Scottish whaling barque Betsy visited Bay of Islands, New Zealand in 1836

A list reported the arrival at Bay of Islands on 11 December 1836 of the Scottish whaling barque Betsy, master Irving, homeport Leith returning from the sperm oil fishery with a cargo of 1,700 barrels oil.
