An item reported Soviet Baltic Fleet was no longer divided in two parts but became a single headquarters organisation under the command of admiral A.G. Golovko.(1)

1. Arsenii Grigorovich Golovko (10 June 1906 Prochladny-17 May 1962 Moscow) served in the navy since 5 November 1925, became First Deputy Commander of the Navy in November 1956.
