An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 16 August reported the arrival at Copenhagen, Denmark of a galliot which left Greenland on 4 July bring with her a list of the catch results until 22 June claiming that the Dutch Greenland commandeur Gerbrand van de Velde caught 10 whales but was lost. His crew and probably the blubber was taken on board by commandeur Mathias Klaesz.
