Japanese cargo ship (ex-Rabenfels 1903-1915, Raven II 191501917, Ravenrock 1917-Heiei Maru No. 7 1924-1940 (Kenei Maru 1940-1945)

Laid down by Swan, Hunter&Wigham Richardson Ltd., Low Walker Shipyard, Newcastle, United Kingdom with yard number 407 on 5 November 1903, completed in December 1903 for account of the German shipping company Hansa, added to the British Royal Navy as Raven II on 12 June 1916, of the Admiralty managed by Grahams&Co. As Ravenrock since 1917, sold in 1924 and sunk during an air attack on the South China Sea on 12 January 1945. Gross tonnage 4,815 tons, under deck 4,415 tons, net tonnage 2,971 tons, deadweight 7,160 tons and as dimensions x 10 (light)-25.3 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, 1,270 tons coal bunker capacity, range 11,300 nautical miles/9.5 knots and speed 9.5 (normal cruising)-10.5 (maximum) knots.
