Japanese cargo ship Kanseishi Maru 1929-1944

Call sign JPSC. Built by Osaka Iron Works, Osaka, Japan in April 1929 and sunk by the American submarine USS Swordfish (SS-913) serving as an army cargo ship on 15 June 1944. Gross tonnage 4,805 tons, under deck 3,378 tons, net tonnage 2,731 tons, deadweight 7,279 tons and as dimensions 371.0 x 51.0 x 29.0 x 7.4 (light)-23.8 (loaded) feet. Speed 10 (normal cruising)-11 (maximum) knots, reciprocating propulsion, 346 nhp coal bunker capacity 665 tons and range 5,280 nautical miles/10 knots.
