American whaler North Star spoken according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 2 October 1852

 An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 30 September of the American whaling barque Black Eagle returning from the Arctic which spoke on 13 August the American whaler North Star of New London 600 barrels oil.
