Dokkade, Vlissingen before her departure to the Dutch East Indies
An item reported that in the period 1 October 1891-1 October 1892 the Dutch torpedo boat Hr.Ms. Cerberus was to be laid up on a slipway and for this purpose was a cradle made and a slipway at the naval establishment [at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies] prepared fur pulling the cradle out of the water. Her steam boiler was removed for necessary repairs.(1)

1. Ordered by the Indische Militaire Marine between 26/2-22/3-1887, laid down with yard number 60 by Kon. Mij. De Schelde, Vlissingen, Netherlands on 17-12-1887. launched on 29-08-1888, trial on 18-10-1888 and delivered on 30-10-1888, departed towards Surabaya, Dutch East Indies on 2-11-1888 and stricken in 1920.
