Japanese cargo ship Omi Maru 1912-1942

Call sign JCFA. Gross tonnage 3,393 tons, under deck 2,973 tons, net tonnage 2,041 tons, deadweight 2,600 tons and as dimensions 345.5 x 46.3 x 25.5 x 9.6 (light)-23 (loaded) feet, Reciprocating propulsion, 456 nhp/3,181 ihp, 93 rpm/15 knots, coal bunker capacity 990 tons, range 13,500 nautical miles/13 knots and speed 13 (normal) cruising-15 (maximum) knots. Launched by Napier&Miller Ltd., Old Kilpatrick with yard number 183 on 30 April 1912 and torpedoed by the American submarine USS Triton east outh east of Ponape, Carolines on 28 December 1942.
