Ld., Kobe, Japan with yard number 476 on 17 July 1920, launched on 15 January 1921, completed on 6 April 1921, required by the army and allotted as troop transport IJA No. 440 in 1941, returned to owners and became with a civilian crew an so-called Ippan Choyosen (B-AK) in the navy on 21 December 1942, torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Flying Fish (SS-229) north west of Yap on 27 October 1943 and stricken o 30 November 1943.
