Ld., Kobe, Japan with yard number 477 on 14 August 1920, launched on 22 April 1921, completed on 13 June192, chartered by the army to be used as troop transport July 1937-1938, requisitioned by the army and became troop transport IJA No. 948 on 20 November 1941, returned to owners on 7 June 1942 and torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Haddock (SS-231) in the Yellow Sea off Qingdao, China on 11 November 1942. Gross tonnage 6,571 tons, under deck 6,157 tons, net tonnage 4,013 tons and as dimensions 405.0 x 53.0 x 37.0 x 9 (light)-28 (loaded) feet.
