Japanese Kanoya Naval Air Station in 1937

Commissioned in 1936 as a coast defence force but also with important base facilities for carrier aircraft but could only operate land based aircraft. With 1 squadron single seat fighters and 1.5 squadron heavy land based torpedo bombers.
