American 5-mast schooner Paul Palmer 1902-1913

Built by William F. Palmer of Dorchester, Massachusetts, USA at Bath, Maine in 1902 and foundered in 1914. Gross tonnage 2,193 tons, net tonnage 1,763 tons and dimensions 253 x 43 feet. Wipedia claims built by George L. Wellt, Waldoboro, Main 1902 for William H, Palmer , owner since 1911 J.S. Winslow and Company, burned to the waterline and sunk on 15 June 1913 bound for Newport News, dimensions 276 x 44 x 24 feet and wreck discovered in 2002. Lloyds register edition 1907 owner W.F. Palmer, built by G.L. Weldt, 1,763 tons register tonnage, dimensions 276.1 x 44.2 x 24.4 feet, homeport Boston.
