Carola-class corvette preceded by Bismarck-class succeeded by SMS Nixe. Laid down as Ersatz Augusta by AG Vulcan, Stettin, Germany in 1879, launched on 11 December 1880, commissioned on 9 January 1882, training ship 1893-1897, stricken in 1905, sold in 1906 and broken up in 1908.
