British screw steam corvette HMS Boadicea 1876-1897

Part of Bacchante-class corvettes preceded by Emerald-class succeeded by Comus-class. Designed by the chief constructor of the Royal Navy (1872-1885) Sir Nathaniel Barnaby (25 February 1829 Chatham-16 June 1915 London). Launched at Portsmouth Dockyard on 19 October 1876, completed in 1878, commissioned on 18 April 1878, stricken and sold on 10 May 1897.
