An item reported that there was hardly new information received in the last two weeks dealing with the Japanese Screening Force (virtually the First Fleet). According to one report several units returned to home waters, possible preparing an attack. If so not for a major offensive regarded the just two aircraft carriers in operating status present in the home waters and further more the very lagt number of ships under repair or underhaul after 4 months intensive service in the southern waters.
