Archer-class P2000-type patrol and training vessel. United Kingdom-flagged, MMSI 235009890 and call sign GABA. Launched by Watercraft Shoreham By Sea in 195, required in 1994 by the British Royal Navy from the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service (RNXS). Attached to the Northumbrian University Royal Naval Unit (URNU), training students at Durham, Northumbria, Teesside and Sunderland universities. Homebase HMS Callipe, Gateshead. Displacement 54 tons and as dimensions 20,8 x 5,8 x 1,8 metres. Rolls Royce diesels supplying via 2 shafts 1.590 bhp allowing a speed of 14 knots although the hull is designed for a maximum speed of 45 knots for which the horsepower is lacking with the original machinery placed. Range 550 nautical miles. Crew 18 (training)-12 (operational) men. Armament if needed 1-2cm Oerlikon cannon and 3 general purpose machine guns.
