Call sign JKPB. Laid down with yard number 200 by Mitsubishi Dockyard&Engineering Works on 28 May 1907, launched on 16 January 1910, completed on 30 April 1910, requisitioned by the army on 19 November 1941, became Alloted Army No. 214, released to owners on 25 June 1943, then under an army/civilian contract as Army no. 5051 and sunk in an American air attack off Foochow, China on 23 January 1944. Gross tonnage 5,288 tons, under deck 4,881 tons, net tonnage 3,230 tons and as dimensions 400.0 x 51.0 x 32.4 x 10.1 (light)-26 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, 2 screws, coal bunker capacity 2,400 tons, range 22,600 nautical miles/11 knots and speed 11 (normal cruising)-12.5 (maximum) knots.
