British aircraft carrier (ex-Telemachus 1940-1941, Empire Activity 1941-1942) HMS Activity D 94 1942-1946 (Breconshire 1946-1967)

Laid down by Caledon Shipbuilding&Engineering Company, Dundee, Scotland as refrigerated cargo ship Telemachus on 1 February 1940, taken over by the Ministry of Tramsport and renamed Empire Activity on 1 Feburary 1941, requisitioned by the Admiralty and to be converted into an escort carrier and renamed HMS Active D94 in January 1942, launched on 30 May 1942, commissioned on 29 September 1942, served as a deck landing carrier between 1 January-October 1943, refitted and since then actual service, decommissioned on 20 October 1945, sold into the merchant shipping and renamed Breconshire on 25 March 1946 and arrived at Mihara, Japan to be broken up on 24 April 1967.
