Except for two contacts no enemy submarine atcitities around Hawaii according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 25 December 1941

An item referred to CINCPAC reported that except for two submarine contacts of which the results were unknown everything was quiet at Hawaii. The J.I.C. commented that air superiority in the area was imperative.
