Call sign SVVI. Greece-flagged, homeport Piraeus. Launched by Newport News S.B.&D.D. Co., Newport News in November 1917, completed on 5 January 1918, delivered to the United States Shipping Board and acquired by the US Navy on 10 January 1918, commisioned on 14 January 1918, decommissioned on 6 January 1919, returned on 25 April 1919, sold to Greece in 1938, to Japan in 1940 and torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Nautilus (SS-168) on 28 September 1942. Displacement 10,400 tons, gross tonnage 4,620 tons, under deck 4,138 tons, netto tonnage 2,866 tons, deadweight 7,400 tons and as dimensions 370.0 x 53.1 x 17.0 24 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 471 nhp and speed 9 (normal cruising) knots.
