Call sign JTQB. Launched by Irvine’s S.B.&D.D. Co. Ltd., West Hartlepool, England with yard number 553 on 25 July 1915, completed in October 1915 and torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Scorpion off Changsan Got, Korea on 3 July 1943. Gross tonnage 3,890 tons, under deck 3,49 tons, netto tonnage 2,337 tons, deadweight 6,462 tons and as dimensions 350.2 x 51.1 x 24.0 x 7 (light)-22.3 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, coal bunker capacity 952 ton, range 7,600 nautical miles/9 knots, horsepower 302 nhp and speed 9 (normal cruising)-10 (maximum) knots.
