Part of Minekaze-class Nokaze sub-class prededed by Momi-class succeeded by Wakatake-class, built under the 8-4 Fleet Program. Totally 15 built. Ordered under 1918 Fiscal Year. Laid down by Maizauru Arsenal on 16 April 1921, launched on 1 October 1921, commissioned on 31 March 1922, torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Pargo north of Nha Trang, French Indochina in the South China Sea on 20 February 1945 and stricken on 10 April 1945.
