Part of Minekaze-class prededed by Momi-class succeeded by Wakatake-class, built under the 8-4 Fleet Program. Totally 15 built. Ordered under Fiscal Year 1918. Laid down by Mitsubishi, Nagasaki, Japan on 14 December 1920, launched on 28 May 1921, commissioned on 24 August 1921, stricken on 5 October 1945, repatriation vessel October 1945-August 1947, handed over at Singapore to the Royal Navy in 1947 and there sold and broken up.
