Naval local defence forces in the Panama Naval Coastal Frontier placed under the command of the Panama Canal Department according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 21 December 1941

An item reported that the all naval local defence forces stationed in the Panama Naval Coastal Frontier was placed under the commanding general of the Panama Canal Department as was agreed under a joint Army-Navy plan.
