Laid down by Seattle-Tacoma Shipbuilding Corporation as the Bogue-class escort carrier USS Delgada on 9 October 1942, launched on 20 February 1943, lent to the UK under Lend-Lease, commissioned as the Ruler-class escort carrier HMS Speaker on 20 November 1943, decommissioned on 25 September 1946, sold to become a merchant ship on 22 April 1947 of Cia Argentina de Nav. Dodero and sold to be broken up at Taiwan in 1972.
