Awarded on 5 October 1941, laid down on way 4 by Seattle-Tacoma Shipbuilding Corporation, Tacoma, USA with yard number 17 as the merchant ship Mormacmail on 3 November 1941, purchased by the US Navy in 1942, as the BACV-6 converted into an escort carrier by Willamette Iron&Steel, Portland, launched on 7 March 1942, commissioned on 31 January 1943 as the British Attacker-class escort carrier HMS Tracker D24, decommissioned on 2 November 1945, returned to the US Navy on 29 November 1945, stricken on 21 January 1946, sold in November 1946 and broken up in 1964.
