An item dated 6 September reported the arrival off Amsterdam of the Dutch Greenland commandeur Abraham Ravesteyn (1) empty, entered the ice on 78 degrees, left the ice with the commandeurs Klaes Schaep (2) and Jacob de Boer (3) on 70 degrees on 8 August and was sighted by a 40-gun privateer on the North Sea but not harrassed.
