An item referred to the N/A Singapore reporting that the Dutch submarine PH-16 was lost in a British mine field off Muxding with just one survivor.(1)

1. This was the submarine Hr.Ms. O-16. Ordered on 12 April 1933, laid down with yard number 200 by Kon. Maatschappij De Schelde, Vlissingen on 2 January 1935, launched on 27 January 1936. commissioned on 26 October 1936 and lost on 15 December 1941.
