Laid down by Mitsui Bussan K.K., Tama, Japan on 2 June 1924, launched on 29 December 1924, completed on 10 February 1925, requisitioned by the army on 5 October 1941, converted into troop transport Allotted IJA No. 876 and sunk in an American air attack 24 miles North West of Amami Oshima on 23 March 1945.
