An item referred to CINCPAC reporting the greatly reduced Japanese submarine activities in the vicinity of Oaha, Hawaii caused by vigorously attacking each contact. There were indications of submarines present north east of the Hawaiian area, some of which stationed on the Great Circle track others hurrying to the American coast line.
