The German embassy at Tokyo, Japan wrote on 28 October 1935 to the Chef der Marineleitung at Berlin referring to the Japanese monthly magazine Yushu that the gunboat Ke-imin, part of the riverine flotilla, built in 1933, tonnage 15 tons, speed 10.0 miles, flatt-bottomed and an armament of (anti aircraft) guns, machineguns, search lights and wireless devices.
