Russian icebreakers underway from Archangel to Port Dickson in August 1942

American naval attaché at Moscow, Russia reported in August 1942 that the Russian icebreakers Krassin, Stalin, Litke, Lenin and Montcalm to which the British tanker Hopemount was added, left Archangel for Port Dickson at the entrance of the Yenissei river to pick up one destroyer leader and 3 destroyers bound for the Far East. The Hopemount was to fuel the 4 warships.
