Part of Wakatake-class preceded by Minekaze-class succeeded by Kamikaze-class. Slightly modified Momi-class and rated as second class destroyer. Planned 13 but 5 cancelled and 8 completed. Laid down by Uraga Dock Company on 5 April 1922, launched on 15 February 1923, completed/commissoned on 5 November 1923and torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Bluefish in the Celebes Sea on 13 November 1943 and stricken on 5 January 1944.
