An item reported that the Brazilian cabinet ordered the building of 3 battleships and 2 cruisers (1) at the Armstrong and Vickers in England.

1. The Bahia-class scout cruisers consisting of the Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul, the Ceara was cancelled, built by Armstrong Whitworth, England 1907-1910.
