An item reported the arrival on 4 November at Portland by British light cruiser HMS Dunedin coming from Gibraltar.(1)

Note

1. Part of Danae or D-class light cruisers, preceded by C-class, succeeded by Emerald-class. Laid down by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle-on-Tyne on 5 November 917, launched on 19 November 1918, commissioned on 13 September 1919 and sunk by the German submarine U-124 on 24 November 1941 north east of Recife, Brazil east of the St. Paul’s Rock.
