Shipbuilding at Shanghai, China according to the Australia Station Intelligence Summary dated 7 January 1956

An item reported that at Shanghai north of Mollers Yard around 300 yards from the river bank a merchant ship with a length of 200-250 feet was under construction and the hull nearly completed to be launched. Between the hull and the river was considerable excavation work in progress and already around 150 yards square cleared. It seemed that a new dock was under construction.
