French armoured cruiser Kléber 1899-1917

Part of Dupleix-class preceded by Gueydon-class succeeded by Gloire-class, designed for overseas duties. Laid down by Forges et Chantiers de la Gironde, Bordeaux, France in early 1899, launched on 20 September 1902, commissioned on 4 July 1904 and sunk after striking a naval mine on 27 June 1917.
