Call sign JTSE. Launched by A/S Bergens Mekaniske Verksted, Bergen, Norway with yard number 119 on 11 November 1902, delivered in January 1903. Norwegian owners until2 February 1920 when she became property of N.V. Algemeene Rotterdamsche Overzee Scheepvaart-Maatschappij, manager C.P.J. van Muyden (firmant Firma Van Muyden & Co., cargadoors/expediteurs), both Rotterdam, Netherlands, due to banktruptcy sold in 1921 to Michael Hebsen, Hamburg, Germany, sold to Japan in 1922 and wrecked on 27 April 1948. Bale capacity 64,000 cubic feet. Gross tonnage 1,119 tons, under deck 965 tons, netto tonnage 688 tons, deadweight 1,300 tons and as dimensions 199.3 x 32.1 x 14.7 x 8 (light)-19 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 144 nhp, coal fuelled and speed 6 (normal cruising) knots.
