Russians intercepting merchant ships in the Red Sea acccording to the Dutch newspaper Deli courant dated 2 March 1904

An item reported that the Russians were intercepting merchant ships in the Red Sea searching for contraband. The British collier Ettrickdale and Franxby and the Norwegian ship Mathilda were declared to be prizes.(1)
