Russian Baltic squadron coal bunkering at Poelau-Weh, Dutch East Indies acccording to the Dutch newspaper Sumatra-bode dated 15 December 1904

An item reported the expected visit at Poelau-Weh, Dutch East Indies by the Russian Baltic squadron.(2) Recently loaded German colliers coal for the same squadron. Off Diamant-punt, north east Atjeh was an unknown steamship with 4 funnels sighted going to the west.(2)

2. The newspaper De Preanger-bode in an item Kotaradja dated 14 December 1904 described an anonymous grey panted cruiser with 4 funnels the afternoon of the day before at 17:00 o’clock full speed off Diamantpunt going to the west.
