Part of Danton-class succeeded by Liberté-class succeeded by Courbet-class. Laid down by Arsenal de Brest, Brest, France on 9 January 1908, launched on 4 July 1909, commissioned on 24 July 1911 and torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-64 19 miles south west of Sardinia bound for Corfu on 19 March 1917.
