Japanese 40,000-43,000 ton battleship construction in 1942

An item reported that Japan was building three battleships with a displacement of 40,000-43,000 tons, a speed of 27 knots and a main armament of 9-40,6cm guns. One anonymous laid down at Sasebo or Yokosuka in November 1939 and launched in 1940. One anonymous laid down at Kure in December 1939 and launched in 1941.
