Dutch whaler De Bloejende Boekwyt for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1736

Shipbrokers Adam Beth and Jan Kramp. Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 22 October 1736 when the Boomklok stopped of the fluyt ship De Bloejende Boekwyt, commandeur Dirk Blank. Built in 1721. In 1733-1734 hull renewed and since 1733 large parts of the rigging. Lying north of the Bickersboom. Dimensions  96¾ (prow) x 24.4 (first beam before large hatch within the hull) x 11.1½ (depth of hold at first beam before large hatch on load line) x 5.7 (height verdeck first beam before large hatch) x 7.8½ (height steering wheel area) Amsterdam foot. Bidding stopped at ƒ 4,500.
