Part of Aventurier-class preceded by Enseigne Roux-class succeeded by Arabe-class. Originally ordered by Argentina by taken over by French navy due to the outbreak of the First World War in August and fitted out with French armament. Laid down by Ateliers et Chantiers de Bretagne, Nantes, France, launched on 25 September 1911, stricken in 1937 and broken up in 1938.
