Norwegian steam ship Belpareil visited Ponte Delgado, Azores in June 1941

In his letter No. 855 dated Lisbon 8 July 1941reported the German naval attaché in Portugal to the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine at Berlin the marine traffic at Ponte Delgada, São Miguel, Azores, Portugal the Norwegian steam ship Belpareil. Arriving on 7 June 1941 coming from England, departing to Cape Town, South Africa on 8 June, art 20763, gross register tonnage 7,203 tons, cargo important war stores including armoure cars and fast motor boats.
