In his letter No. 855 dated Lisbon 8 July 1941 reported the German naval attaché in Portugal to the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine at Berlin the marine traffic at Oporto between 29 June-5 July 1941. Spanish cargo ship Nuestra Señora del Carmen, arrived on 3 July coming from Malaga, Spain. Article 30739. Gross tonage 3,482 tons. Cargo consisted of ballast. To be loaded with wheat and rails (?) bound or Genua, Italy.
