French whaler General Teste visited Lahaina, Hawaii according to the The Friend dated 8 November 1858

An item reported the arrival on 16 October of the French whaler General Teste, captain Le Mercier, of Le Havre, France, caught nothing, coming from Kodiak. Left 28 October for New Zealand, master Beregaux.
