Japanese destroyer escorts Yukikaze and Harukaze launched according to the Australia Station Intelligence Summary dated 1 February 1956

An item reported the launching of the destroyer escort Yukikaze at Kobe on 20 August 1955 and the Harukaze at Nagasaki on 20 September both to be completed within the coming few months. Crew numbered 190 men. Armament 3-12.7cm/5” guns and 2x2-4cm guns. Fitted out with sonar. Built under the 1953-1954 Budget.
